Wednesdays in June and July

It's time to reserve your spots for Wednesday evenings at the Doubleton Club. Regular games don't require signups, but are much appreciated and help us organize the game so we are able to start on time. If you want a special table or direction, reservations are advised. The game schedule for this month is:
  • June 24; July 1, 15, 29: Regular games
  • July 8 and July 22: North American Pairs Qualifier (extra fee) - Reservations required!
  • Traffic alert! There's an event at Shoreline on June 24th. That means heavy traffic at game time, so plan accordingly.

North American Pairs Qualifiers:

The ACBL calls the North American Pairs a "highly prestigious 'grass roots' event." It's also fun and the qualifiers give lots of masterpoints - half of them red. We will be holding three qualifiers: July 8, July 22, and August 5. Note that the conditions of contest for this event limit Flight C contestants to non-life masters. That means that all life masters must play in the Open section in these qualifiers. Mark your calendars and sign up!
  • Open section: Flight A (open to all) and Flight B (less than 2500)
  • 499er section: Flight C (NLM and less than 500)

Thank you to everyone who came to our 10th Anniversary Celebration!!

    • Special thanks to those of you once-upon-a-time regulars who made an extra effort to join us. Special thanks to those of you who came by just to congratulate us. Special thanks to all of you, new friends and old, who have made our club a success.

Reserve (or cancel) your spot: Doubleton Club Reservation Sheet

Do you want to verify your reservation?  Click on the "Automagic List" link. This list updates automatically, although it does take a minute or two, and date tabs at the bottom of the page provide access to the reservations week-by-week. Note that the Automagic List does not include the standing reserved list.

Don't forget to let us know when you become a Life Master. We want to add your name to our Congratulations! list.

Are you looking for a partner for an upcoming Doubleton Club game? Please contact us via a partner request email. We will try to set you up with the most compatible person possible. The more advanced notice we get, the more likely we are to be able to find a partner.

ReminderAre you looking for a partner or teammates for an upcoming tournament? Would you like to find someone to share a hotel room? Consider using our "Tournament Partner Request Form" listed in the right-hand menu. Use the form to post your request. Check the list to see who might be available. Please note that all information posted will be publicly available! Lori and Sue will be monitoring the list, but will not be serving as intermediaries. You are on your own to post requests and contact other players.

      • Open Section: Ron Powell and David Sterling - 66.90%
