Wednesdays in January

Happy New Year! It's time to reserve your spots for Wednesday evenings at the Doubleton Club. Regular games don't require signups, but are much appreciated and help us organize the game so we are able to start on time. If you want a special table or direction, reservations are advised. The game schedule for this month is:
  • January 1 - Yes, there is a game. Regulars, let us know if you're not coming.
  • January 1, 8, 15, 29 - Regular games
  • January 22 - Upgraded Club Championship: Reservations Required
Play Nice. The ACBL's new Zero Tolerance poster contains a lot of good advice. Here's one tidbit.
  • "Value your partner. He's the only one in the room on your side."
And now for a word about temperature: The thermostat is set for 71-72º during Doubleton Club games. Those of you who set your home thermostat at 66º will find this too warm. Those of you who keep your homes at 75º will find this too chilly. Please dress for the game with this in mind.

Do you want to verify your reservation?  Click on the "Automagic List" link. This list updates automatically, although it does take a minute or two, and date tabs at the bottom of the page provide access to the reservations week-by-week. Note that the Automagic List does not include the standing reserved list.

Are you looking for a partner for an upcoming Doubleton Club game? Try our partner request form. Your request will not be visible to anyone but Lori and Sue.  We will try to set you up with the most compatible person possible. The more advanced notice we get, the more likely we are to be able to find a partner.

ReminderAre you looking for a partner or teammates for an upcoming tournament? Would you like to find someone to share a hotel room? Consider using our "Tournament Partner Request Form" listed in the right-hand menu. Use the form to post your request. Check the list to see who might be available. Please note that all information posted will be publicly available! Lori and Sue will be monitoring the list, but will not be serving as intermediaries. You are on your own to post requests and contact other players.
